Tango for intermediate level with Wolfgang & Annette: Tango dancing made easy - Playing with Tango
Wolfgang Sandt & Annette Greifenhagen
Is this course right for you?
You have already taken several courses and keep going to practice evenings, milongas and tango balls?
Then this may sound familiar to the ladies among you:
- When you dance with a man you don't yet know, you are afraid of not really understanding what he wants. This stresses you out and makes you lose your composure and throw you off your axis.
- You would like to play with the music and do some embellishments, but you don't know how.
- If you try a few embellishments every now and then, your dance partner gets nervous because he doesn't know what's going on. And you don't know how to deal with it.
And the men among you may know the following situations all too well:
- When you dance with a woman you don't know yet, you are irritated because she doesn't understand your signals and doesn't dance what you want her to do.
- It also throws you off track when she suddenly makes some "strange" steps and you don't know how to react.
- You know a bit about tango music. You know that there are different orchestras and styles. But you still don't really know how to dance best to the respective music.
Then the course "Tango dancing made easy - play with the tango" is just right for you!
We will show you in this course:
Especially for the men
- How you can put together your own "figures" from individual, small and simple elements and thus impress the ladies without having to remember complex choreographies.
- What you can do if the lady is not dancing what you think you have led.
- How you can recognize that the lady is not just "staggering around strangely", but is simply incorporating embellishments into her steps.
Especially for the women:
- When you can incorporate embellishments into your dance and when you better don´t.
- How you can perceive and accept your dance partner's offers in a playful and active way.
- How you can better understand the gentleman's signals and find the balance between taking the initiative and following them in a relaxed manner.
- What you can do if you notice that your dance partner is still unsure and loses his composure as soon as you dance a few embellishments.
And for everyone:
- How you can understand the music even better and play with rhythm and melody.
- How you can dance even more elegantly.
- And above all: Why it is not a problem at all if something doesn't work out as planned!
In short, how to have even more fun while dancing.

What our students say about us
The Tango course was an experience I don´t want to miss anymore. Many thanks to Wolfgang and Annette, who imparted in a very sympathetic and structured way their profound knowledge of Argentine Tango. In future I will save money on courses at home but treat my wife and me to another holiday at La Rogaia instead. Andreas from Sprockhövel
"After the tango holiday in La Rogaia, we had our first tango class yesterday and we could really see the improvement in our dancing. I'm no longer afraid that my partner will step on my toes and we need much less time to learn something new. Our teachers have noticed our progress - in fact, we learned as much in this compressed week as we did in half a year with a class once a week. Our bodies are much better attuned to each other and we have a deeper understanding of the rhythm of the music. We look forward to coming back next year to continue improving our dancing :)" Crista from Luxembourg
